2009 Clean Tech Open Competition SemiFinalist

EVIN was selected out of 289 entrants in the California region as one of the 49 overall semifinalist. The Clean Tech Open is a business plan competition that encourages the development of clean technology companies that foster a healthy natural environment.

The competition spanned 5 months and consisted of multiple seminars, working sessions, presentation workshops, and judging rounds.  EVIN was assigned 4 Mentors, seasoned academic and business professionals, who worked with us on a daily basis to refine our business plans, evaluate our Sustainability index, and provide valuable feedback throughout the competition. 

Vintage Auto Racing & Clean Technology Exhibition

MONTEREY, CA Sept. 12, 2009Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca joined forces with Club Auto Sport and present ed “Uncorked” a two-day showcase was free for spectators and open to the public for a community appreciation weekend. Uncorked gave the community a preview of what the track will feature next year.

In an effort to promote the expansion of clean transportation, Club Auto Sport hosted a Clean Technology Exhibition Pavilion in the main paddock where companies and organizations producing and supporting clean energy showcased their environmentally friendly technologies on and off the track.

“Spectators will be able to learn about alternative transportation solutions, whether it be an entirely electric sportscar or an alternative fueled car,” said Bob Guimarin, president of EVIN.
