EVIN's business is created around the idea of a battery exchange vehicle and secured by its primary patent, EVIN embodies the idea that electric cars can “refuel” simply by swapping out a fully charged standard sized battery pack and immediately return to driving.
More than one road will be traversed in the world's transition from fossil fuel transportation to electric transportation alternatives. Although we believe Battery Exchange Vehicles can provide the same driviing experience of today's cars, our infrastruture network solutions support the recharging of electric vehicles of all types. We intend to provide a cost effective infrastructure network of charging stations that support today's plug-in electric vehicles and provide an upgrade path to full support of battery exchange capabilites.
We have proven the concept of a standard American vehicle that can be propelled by 100% electric fuel and one which maintains the total package of customer experience. List of Cars which can be converted.
At EVIN, we strive to enable traditional automotive and new EV firms to embrace the tremendous benefits of battery exchange.
Drive in and drive out in 3 minutes or less, that is EVIN’s ultimate objective.
We preserve the value of today’s automotive and electric utility industries, allowing them to go green without massive restructuring.
We require less infrastructure changes, provide greener life cycle business opportunities, empower a broader cross-section of America, offer a more sustainable energy strategy, and implement a more collaborative business model than our competitors.

Offering plug-in capabilities, when the recharging characteristics fit the customer’s experience; and, battery exchange when waiting for recharging via plug-in is not within the customer’s driving expectation

Many people believe the idea of electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in EVs (PEVs), and battery exchange vehicles (BEVs) were invented circa 2004; however, electric vehicles, charging stations, and even battery exchange capabilites were available over a 100 years ago, at the dawn of the "horseless carriage" age. We applaud early pioneers like Gaston Plante', Thomas Edison, Willian Morrison, and those cities and companies that pursued the path of electric powered cars, trucks, and buses. Some say GM killed the EV, maybe so, but we believe it was the lack of an available widespread electrical generation and distribution infrastructure that contributed to the fate of the earliest EV market. Unlike the 1890's, electric energy has become ubiquitos and is available everywhere. Because of this, we are hopeful that EVIN presents a new beginning for 100% electric vehicles to thrive and become the mainstay of transportation.
